For the 94th running of the world's most famous endurance race, VBR Race Zone partnered with Goodyear to bring real racing to the fans on the ground at Circuit de la Sarthe – not a racing simulator, not a screen, not a queue for a photo. If you're picturing an RC car racing setup or a racing simulator with a screen and a wheel bolted to a desk – that's not what happened at Le Mans. VBR Race Zone runs real 1:10 scale VBR Cars on a real track, controlled from a VBR Race Cockpit with genuine force feedback. You don't watch a simulation of a crash. You feel it. Why Goodyear, Why Le Mans

Goodyear supplies tires to every LMP2 and LMGT3 car on the Le Mans grid – the same demand for performance under extreme, sustained pressure runs through both sides of this partnership. Real racing tests real limits, whether it's a Hypercar doing 380 km/h down the Mulsanne Straight or a VBR Car sliding through a hairpin in front of a stand full of fans. Putting VBR Race Zone next to Goodyear at Le Mans wasn't a stretch. It was the most natural pairing in motorsport entertainment this year.

Racing in Good Company

Le Mans 2026 brought together eight manufacturers in the Hypercar class alone – Aston Martin, Alpine, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Genesis, Peugeot and Toyota – fighting for outright victory, with Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Lexus, Mercedes-AMG, McLaren and Porsche filling out the LMGT3 field. 62 cars. 186 drivers. One 24-hour war of attrition.

One of those drivers is one of ours. Richard Lietz – Porsche Works Driver, six-time 24 Hours of Le Mans GT winner, and co-owner of VBR – took the start of his 20th Le Mans this year, behind the wheel of a Manthey Porsche. While he raced the real thing on track, thousands of fans a few hundred meters away were getting their own taste of what it feels like to push a car to its limit – through a VBR Race Cockpit.

More Than a Fan Activation
