VBR Race Zone x Ford at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Goodwood Festival of Speed is the Super Bowl of motorsport. 200,000 fans. Four days. Every era of racing history parked on one lawn. This year, VBR Race Zone was part of it – built with Ford, right in the middle of everything.
The Company We Kept
This year's theme was "The Rivals – Epic Racing Duels," marking 60 years since Ford and Ferrari went head-to-head at Le Mans. Around the estate: Ayrton Senna's F1 car, Gerhard Berger's Benetton, an original Audi Sport quattro S1, a Red Bull Racing F1 car, Toyota's GR GT, an Alpine A110, a Bentley Continental Supersports, a BMW Vision M Concept – the kind of machinery most fans will only ever see behind a rope.
And in the middle of it, people weren't just looking. They were racing.
Five Fords, Rebuilt to Race
VBR Race Zone brought four VBR Race Cockpits and five Ford models rebuilt as 1:10 scale VBR Cars – Ranger, Explorer, Capri, Tourneo and Mustang Mach-E – down to the livery, down to the paint. Not a racing simulator on a screen. Not an RC car behind a rope. A real VBR Car, controlled from a real VBR Race Cockpit, with real force feedback – on the same hallowed ground where Formula 1 legends have run the hillclimb for over 30 years.
Fans who've seen every kind of car Goodwood has to offer hadn't seen this. It showed in the queues, and it showed in how long people stayed.

A Brand That Gives You Something to Do
At an event built on watching, VBR Race Zone gave people something to do. That's the whole idea behind POV Racing – a category VBR invented. Ford didn't just put a car on a plinth at Goodwood. It gave 200,000 motorsport fans a reason to sit down, take the wheel, and actually race a Ford.
Nothing drives like VBR.
From Philipp Lietz, Co-Founder & CEO
"Goodwood is something like the Super Bowl of motorsport. Building a VBR Race Zone there together with Ford is something we could never have dreamed of. Thank you to the whole team."
Three Races, One Team
Le Mans. WRC Greece. Now Goodwood. Three of the biggest stages in motorsport, back to back – and the same VBR crew building, running and tearing down every single one. If this is the pace after three events, the next one can't come soon enough.

About VBR Race Zone Founded in 2021, VBR Race Zone invented teleoperated POV Racing – the world's first system where you control a real car, on a real track, from a VBR Race Cockpit with real force feedback. No simulation, no VR. Trusted by Porsche, Ford, Deutsche Telekom, Goodyear and ASUS ROG, VBR Race Zone is now expanding globally through franchise partnerships. About POV Racing So what do you call this, if it's not a simulator and not an RC car? People search for "RC sim," "sim RC car," "FPV racing" – all close, none of them right. POV Racing is real: a real car, a real track, real force feedback, seen live through the car's own camera. Technically, it's teleoperated racing. But nobody types that into Google. So we call it what it feels like – POV Racing. A category that didn't exist before VBR invented it.
